Acceuil chaleureux des messieurs de la réception, hotel très propre,demandé la chambre au 4 ième étage avec terasse. Le buffet du matin simple et complet à la fois. Gutes Frühstück. Freundliches und kinderfreundliches Personal. Nicht zentrumsnah, aber Metrostation in 15 Gehminuten Entfernung. Für römische Verhältnisse ruhig gelegen; gilt für kühlere Jahreszeit wenn man bei geschlossenem Fenster schläft.

El personal encantador. La habitación bastante decente, sin pegas ninguna. El desayuno bastante bien, cafe, zumos, bollería, panes,embutidos,pastelería,cereales,frutas,yogures...etc.

The hotel is located fairly close to the Train stations(10-15 mins walk). So it was easy for us to catch the metro and travel to different tourist places in rome.

The Hotel Laurentia has it all: exellent and quiet situation off the tourist trac, close to good local restaurants and shopping, spacious and clean rooms with exellent comfort, extremely serviceminded and friendly staff, tasteful lounge and breakfast area, guest PC for internet access - I sure will come back - my best recommendations

I am very happy to stay in hotel Laurentia, particularly because of its location near the train station and near the University. At the same time it is located in a small street, across from a market. Next time in Rome I'll be back

Very nice hotel, we very much enjoyed our stay. It is particularly close to the University which we found convenient as we were attending a conference. At the same time it was an easy walk to most city sights. There were several very good restaurants within easy walking for excellent lunches and better dinners.

Personnel tres gentil, souriant et serviable! Tout particulierement Vicenzo a la reception. Buffet du petit dejeuner copieux, mais de qualite moyenne. Chambre spacieuse avec une terrasse et un petit frigo etait disponible. J'ai beaucoup apprecie tous les produits disponibles dans la salle de bain (charlotte pour cheveux, savon, gel douche, shampooing, kit de rasage, peigne) qui etait tres propre et spacieuse. Un peu loin du centre ville, à une dizaine de minutes de l'ISS et a 15 min a pied de la gare Termini (ou deposent la navette et le train depuis l'aeroport).

La nostra camera è accogliente e vi si può ben riposare anche di notte non essendo affacciata sulla via principale. L'albergo é ben servito dai mezzi pubblici che consentono facilmente l'accesso alle zone di maggior interesse turistico. Nell'insieme un ottimo soggiorno

No complaints! Excellent service at reception and breakfast. Location good for exploring the city, on the other hand out of the "Rip-off-price-area". Lots of good and fair priced restaurants and bars around.

Good hotel in Roman term of availability and respectively to the price/quality ratio. about 10-15 minutes walk from termini station (so if coming by train - take a taxi and don't drag your bags!). lovely frontdesk people.

Hotel was clean, modern with friendly and helpful staff. Not as near Termini as I thought but worked to our advantage, Being a 10 to 15 min walk away from Termini, it was quiet at night with a good range of places to eat.

Hotel staff were excellent.They were extremely helpful when helping us to get out and about with good knowledge of local buses, trains etc. The room was clean and towels changed daily.The double glazing worked well and so the room was quiet at night. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We stay with a family in your hotel and had a good time. The breakfast with juice and different ingredients for the muesli is perfect children-breakfast. The coffee from the staff is excellent and it is nice to get cheese and ham, not only sweet food. It is a easy walking distance from the railwaystation and the restaurants round the hotel are good, with exellent relationship between price and quality.

Vom Termini in ca. 20 min. mit 20 kg Rollkoffer zu Fuß zu erreichen, teilweise gepflasterte Bürgersteige. Noch zur Lage angenehmes Studentenviertel, Lokale und Lebensmittel sozusagen um die Ecke. Frühstück OK Mix zwischen italienisch und kontinental - kein britisches...! Rezeption freundlich und immer zu sprechen.

We had a tough time finding it and felt quite foolish once we got our bearings. If you arrive at termini you can walk ten minutes to the hotel (without luggage) by via Marsala all the way to the arches, then go into San Lorenzo which is surrounded by old walls. We were anxious about the area but found once we were inside the walls, it was quite pleasant. The hotel is directly across from the church, so it is easy to find. The reception workers, all older gentlemen, didn't speak English very well. We checked in and went to our room. We found the hotel, aside from the first floor, to be gloomy and outdated. However, the rooms were spacious compared to our previous hotel in Rome and the bathroom was a very good size. The room was extremely clean and we were given toiletries that I wouldn't have expected, like toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, etc. These were replenished daily! What I didn't like was that the toilet needed to be flushed multiple times to actually work (once it took eight tries). The walls are paper thin and we had very inconsiderate neighbors, when they were gone it was very peaceful. Finally the church bells ring every half hour very loudly from 0830 to 2130 which is annoying if you want to nap. Overall a good hotel.

Excellent experience, the room was nice, huge and clean. The hotel is in the hearth of San Lorenzo, which is a very characteristic, young and dynamic quarter located near to the termini station, with a lot of restaurants, bars etc

Consiglio questo hotel per un piacevole soggiorno a Roma. La stanza è confortevole. Ottima posizione per il divertimanto serale (per i giovani, siamo nella zona universitaria) e ristorantini tipici ma lontana dal centro.

Hemos tenido una experiencia muy recomendable en este hotel. La situación , en el barrio de San Lorenzo ,es perfecta ya que está en una zona llena de bares , restaurantes y pizzerias, cuando volviamos al hotel por la noche soliamos cenar en una pizzeria Formula 1 super buena y economica. En el hotel el personal amable y atento en todo monento y la habitación que nos asignaron correcta, parket y cama kingsize comodisima , el baño era pequeño pero limpisimo. Estamos muy contentos de haber elegido por segunda vez esta hotel en Rom

The hotel was excellent and the staff friendly, they even booked us a taxi to take us to the airport which only cost 10 euro's each. We were really lucky as there was a festival going on in the square while we were there with entertainment every night.

Room is comfortable, double bed is big enough and very clean. Sound isolation is good. Very friend and helpful staff, both the reception and bar tender. Breakfast is very good.

Well served by the number 71 bus that will take you to centre of Rome. Breakfast is sumptuous. Area is run down but does have a few good bars and restaurants nearby. Check if air conditioning is available when you book as our room did not have any but this was fine in April. Reception can arrange a limo to Ciampino for E45. I would be quite happy to stay here again.

I had a meeting in the university "Sapienza" in rome and stayed in this hotel since it was in walking distance. The lobby already made a good impression, the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. My room was on the first floor to the back of the hotel away from the plaza. I had booked a single room but got a double room with two single beds and a large bathroom. It was clean and tidy. However, I missed a ceiling light. But apparently, this is very common in Rome. So, not such a big deal. The breakfast was reasonable, they had couple of different cereals, buns, croissants, and so on. I enjoyed it. One disadvantage was the internet. Although it was free, it had some connection problems. For me it was not clear what the reason was. However, in the lobby is pc you can use 24/7 for free. If I ever come back to Rome I will definitely stay again in this hotel.

Amongst the two places we stayed in Rome this probably had the best space and cleanliness. The biggest drawback of this place is that it is in a shady neighborhood and not close to any of the sights in walking range. It is better to stay in the heart of the city not just for being able to walk to the sights but also for dinner/lunch options which there are very few of in this area which is to the east of the Termini. It is not close to the Termini as it appears on the map. We found it easier to walk to Manzoni station which is less crowded and a lot cleaner. I would not recommend it for a touristy stay simply because of the location but otherwise had absolutely no complaints with the stay.
